Artist Statement: Poetry exists within the hearts of young and old, and in the case of this poet, a wise heart in young form. Erin's works uplift just like the bluebird's wings in Take Off! - setting sights on the air and focusing on the positive possibilities: "There is freedom waiting for you, On the breezes of the sky, And you ask, 'What if I fall?' Oh, but my darling, What if you fly?"
