About the Artist
Marsha York, a New England native, started painting in oil over thirty years ago with Robert Scott Jackson. In 1987 she experimented with pastels on sandpaper which resulted in works of vivid, brilliant and crisp colors. Her style veers from the traditional, giving a vibrant pointillistic result. Marsha has won numerous awards and her paintings can be seen in galleries around the world.
